The RAMA Artistic Residency Program provides a specialized and immersive working environment within the rural context of western Portugal.
The program includes: accommodation a 5-minute walk from the studio; studio access available 24 hours a day; personalized mentoring and consultancy for each project by the RAMA coordinator, artist Paulo Brighenti, and curator Ana Anacleto; support for the work developed by residents, including studio visits and meetings with invited artists, researchers, and curators for each residency; visits to local points of interest and to the region’s tangible and intangible heritage; promotion of the resident artists’ projects on the RAMA website and social media.
