Uma certa prática da Atenção
August 27 to November 12, 2022
Venue: Paços – Galeria Municipal de Torres Vedras
The exhibition “Uma certa prática da Atenção” brings together a wide range of works carried out by artists participating in the residency program of RAMA – Art Residencies of Maceira and Alfeiria, in the municipality of Torres Vedras, throughout the first year of its activity. Occupying all the spaces of the Municipal Gallery of Torres Vedras, and in a logic of crossing and intersection, it seeks to establish moments of encounter between each artist's singular universe, enabling a dialogical reading around Attention as a mechanism (simultaneously) perceptual, cognitive and guiding the creative process.
The exhibition features the presentation of works by Ana Caetano, Ana Luísa Ribeiro, Ângela Dias, António Bokel, Beatriz Neves Fernandes, Catarina Gentil, Claudia Lima, David Correia Gonçalves, Diogo Magro Viegas, Duarte Filipe, Elizabeth Langford, Franka Struys, Gwendolyn van der Velden, HElena Valsecchi, Inês Ferreira-Norman, Jéssica Gaspar, Maria João Gromicho, Patrícia Timóteo, Sean Negus, Silvia Pallini, Sofia Castanheira e Stefanía Ólafsdóttir.
